Andrea Petkovic an hard comeback at Indian Wells.
It’s an hard comeback for Andrea Petkovic today in qualifying for Indian Wells. The German that won a Wild Card qualifier, will face the number 94 in the world Yulia Putintseva, that regardless of ranking, has proven to have the numbers to give a hard time to the best in the field.
Petkovic will obviously have all eyes on her since her return after a couple of months of forced stop. Certainly the German of Serbian origin must prove that she’s already in good shape and be able to return as soon as possible among those who are important in the world rankings. So already the qualifying match of this tournament will be full of excitement and tension. We wish both to play a good game, and especially to Andrea Petkovic played a good return in tennis.
There is no precedent between the two players.
Yulia Putintseva lost his last match against Radwanska Agneska at Dubai Duty Free Championship on February 20th with a score of 5-7, 3-6, but it should be noted that she had eliminated in the same tournament Britain’s Laura Robson just a couple of days before.
Petkovic as the last performance in December 29, 2012 against Ash Barty in Perth during Hoppman Cup match in which the German has had to withdraw after just one set for the meniscus problem that we all know.
